NEW USER REGISTRATION FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF NEW STUDENTS
In the Student Online Registration application, new user registration is limited to those parents/guardians who do not have students enrolled at some time in the current fiscal year.
Starting July 18 through August 19 – take five minutes to register your returning student(s) to DeSoto ISD.
Follow the flow chart – log-in, update student information for 2016-17 including parent and emergency contacts, upload your residency and click submit. If your student is on an approved transfer or enrolled in a selective program (magnet or dual-language for instance, at a school other than your home school), register at your home school, then visit the transfer or program school after August 11 to have your student moved over.

Please Note: Registration is NOT complete until all documents are verified at the school.
These documents include:
- Original copy of Birth Certificate
- Immunization Records
- Social Security Card
- Report Card/Transcripts (If available);
- Proof of Residency (Current water, gas, or electricity bill)
- Driver's License

Please send or have the following information:
- Full name of the requesting parent/guardian
- Full name of each child that is currently attending DeSoto ISD
- Campus and grade level of each child
- Birth date of each child
- Student ID (5 digit code) of each child (if known)
