Together We Win Parent Info Meetings Slated for Mar 19-20
Interim Superintendent to Provide Overview of Upcoming Student Behavior Management Strategies and Opportunities for Parent Involvement, Support
DeSoto ISD Interim Superintendent Dr. Larry Lewis will discuss the upcoming changes to student behavioral management including student and family expectations, points of emphasis in district policy and the Student Code of Conduct, and how families can partner with the district to spearhead and support improved culture, climate and student learning outcomes in the district.
The district will host two meetings at the DeSoto High School Academy Cafeteria:
- 10:30 am, Saturday, March 19, 2022
- 2 pm, Sunday, March 20, 2022
Parents, community and students are invited to attend the meetings designed to provide an overview of the district’s future student achievement strategies including academic performance data and student learning and behavioral expectations. These forums will also provide attendees to actively dialogue with the interim superintendent and learn ways in which they can get involved.
