In celebration of Administrative Professionals Day, DeSoto Independent School District proudly honors the critical contributions of the administrative professionals whose dedication and service keep the district operating efficiently and effectively every single day.

These professionals serve as the vital connection point between staff, students, families, and community members. Whether coordinating campus communications, managing calendars, or supporting district operations, administrative staff bring skill, compassion, and excellence to everything they do.

“Administrative professionals are truly the unsung heroes of our schools,” said Dr. Usamah Rodgers, Superintendent of Schools. “They are the welcoming face of our campuses, the steady hand behind the scenes, and the heartbeat of our district operations. Their work allows our teachers to teach, our leaders to lead, and our students to thrive.”

Across all campuses and departments, DeSoto ISD administrative professionals are being recognized this week with acts of appreciation, thoughtful gifts, and heartfelt messages of gratitude from school leaders and colleagues alike.

Larry Davis, Director of Human Capital Management, also expressed deep appreciation for these essential team members:
“Our administrative professionals demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to excellence and service,” said Davis. “Their attention to detail, tireless support of school operations, and dedication to student success are what make DeSoto ISD a special place to work and learn. We are proud to celebrate them today and every day.”

DeSoto ISD acknowledges that behind every great school is a team of talented and passionate individuals—and administrative professionals are at the core of that team. Today, the district extends its deepest appreciation to these individuals who help shape a strong, supportive, and student-centered culture.
