
DeSoto Independent School District reminds residents that early voting is now underway for the upcoming school board (trustee) election. Community members are encouraged to take advantage of early voting to make their voices heard in this important local election.
Early voting by personal appearance began on April 20, 2026, and will continue through April 28, 2026. Election Day is scheduled for May 2, 2026.
School board trustees play a critical role in shaping the future of DeSoto ISD by establishing policies, supporting student achievement, and ensuring strong governance for the district. Community participation in the election process helps ensure that leadership reflects the priorities and values of DeSoto families.
