DeSoto ISD will host its Homecoming Block Party at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, in the parking lot between Eagle Stadium and the DeSoto High School Band Hall, off Eagle Drive.
The celebration will bring Eagle Nation together for an evening filled with music, performances, food and school spirit as the district celebrates its scholars, staff, families and community.
Guests can look forward to:
- The DeSoto High School band
- The award-winning Eaglettes
- DeSoto High School cheerleaders
- Feeder school bands
- Dance squads
- Cheer teams
- Additional student performers and artists
- Food trucks and other activities
A New Homecoming Experience
In place of the traditional Homecoming Parade, DeSoto ISD is bringing the celebration together in one location with a communitywide block party designed to showcase students and the pride that makes DeSoto special.
This year’s Homecoming theme, “All Around the World,” will set the stage for an evening celebrating culture, creativity, entertainment and Eagle pride.
Students, families, staff, alumni and community members are encouraged to wear green and gold, bring the family and join Eagle Nation for the celebration.
