Second-grader, Bryson Conway is known at Cockrell Hill Elementary for his positive attitude and leadership. At a young age, Bryson consistently demonstrates the DeSoto ISD PRIDE value he identifies with most: Determination.
Driven by his personal motto, “Get It Done”, he gives his best effort to stay focused. This mindset is reflected in his daily study habits and his focus on meeting goals. That dedication helped him earn a spot on the DeSoto JayHawks recreational basketball team, which serves students ages 5–14.
At school, Bryson contributes positively to the campus by making responsible choices. Plus, teachers describe him as an articulate and positive presence in the classroom.
Bryson credits his friend Jeremiah for encouraging and supporting him throughout the school year.
Looking ahead, Bryson hopes to become an NBA player.
