The Student Portal, delivered through Person Access, provides parents and students with online access to scores from the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS), including TAKS-Modified (but not including TAKS-ALT), and the Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) assessments. Students receive their log-in code with the results of the spring 2011 testing. This same code will be used to access State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) scores in the next assessment year.
Features included in the Student Portal:
-
Viewing student assessment results over the course of a student’s academic career
-
Comparing individual student TAKS assessment results to campus, district, and state average (Comparisons are not available for Exit Level Retests.)
-
Examining student performance on TAKS, including individual student scale scores and objective scores
-
Examining TELPAS proficiency ratings, comprehension scores, and composite score/rating

This website is on the Families tab of the Assessment Management System. From that location, students and parents can click on a link that will take them to the Student Portal login page. Once students and parents have logged in, they will be able to examine test scores in detail. This portal will assist students and parents with tracking academic progress throughout a student’s academic career.
How to Log-On to the Student Portal:
The assessment data in the Student Portal is reached through a Unique Access Code and the student’s birth date as provided on the student’s most recent Confidential Student Report. Once students and parents have logged in, they will be able to examine test scores in detail. A User’s Guide for the Student Portal is available as well as explanations of the test scores.
Copies of the Confidential Student Report can be obtained from the student’s school counselor if needed.
